The enter button works as if it were the A button on the controller and that is all. Also, the keyboard stops working correctly too. However, with RetroArch on top when I get to the menu the start button works correctly as does the joystick, but the left C button acts like it is the A button and nothing else has any effect. It even loads up and states the controller (Generic USB Joystick) that Mupen is using just like it does when I run the game with only Mupen. MupenвЂ™s controls are configured fine (I know this because as I described above I donвЂ™t have this issue when running with just Mupen). Now, I know that Mupen has itвЂ™s own configuration file. The biggest problem IвЂ™m having is that the default controller configuration seems to be wrong.

Then when EmulationStation loads up again the controller is still fine. Oh, and the keyboard is fine and I can exit the game using ESC no worries. I havenвЂ™t found any reason for the controller issue to be happening yet, and the controller works just fine with any other emulator (played Doom for an hour without issues as well as other games). IвЂ™m also having an issue saving (save states not working), but I havenвЂ™t really looked into that problem yet because of the controller issue. This happens with any N64 game IвЂ™ve tried, not just OoT. My only real issue is that after playing for about 10 minutes, my controller becomes unresponsive. This one is the simpler of the two to describe.

As a note, I have a retrolink USB N64 controller.ДЇirst, Mupen. And IвЂ™ve been Googling my problems for a week now with no luck figuring these things out. The second with just mupen64plus without retroarch on top. I have tried two ways to get this working, one through RetroArch as the latest RetroPie comes configured to do natively. However, right now it is unplayable and IвЂ™m hoping the internet can help. My hope is that I can eventually play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. so that means mupen64plus is already config to use the n64 folder.ДЄfter all that i had the edit the configs/n64/mupen64plus.cfg file to add a button the quit the game and add my joy pad button mapping the the autoinput.ini file in that same folder

it only uses mupen64plus as far as i can tell so unlike the old one there is no need to install 2 n64 emulators. There is no mupen64plus folder in the beta 2 image. I changed the default to the mupen64plus-testing-rice one. When emulation station starts back up go to Nintendo 64 click on a rom and as soon as the screen goes black hit X on the keyboard a window will come up where you can change the default emulator or set a emulator for just that rom.
